2-day city trip to Compiègne for your group: the imperial palace, the Armistice Glade and the Château de Pierrefonds.
Compiègne preserves the memory of Napoleon I and Napoleon III in its palace, which also houses a museum of vehicles, from carriages to the first motor cars. In the forest, the Armistice Glade commemorates the signing of 11 November 1918, with a replica of the famous railway carriage. A few kilometres away, the Château de Pierrefonds, restored by Viollet-le-Duc, raises its towers above the village. A trip close to Belgium, ideal for a group with a taste for history.
Programme
Day 1: Compiègne Palace and forest
- Morning departure from the location of your choice.
- Drive to Compiègne, arriving around midday.
- Guided tour of Compiègne Palace and its imperial apartments (on request).
- Discovery of the National Car and Carriage Museum.
- Check-in at the hotel.

Day 2: The Armistice Glade and Pierrefonds
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit to the Armistice Glade memorial.
- Visit to the Château de Pierrefonds (on request).
- Lunch at a restaurant in Pierrefonds (on request).
- Return journey in early afternoon.
- Arrival back in your area in the evening.
