Day trip to the Luxembourg Ardennes for your group: The Family of Man in Clervaux, the abbey and Bourscheid Castle.
In the north of the Grand Duchy, Clervaux Castle houses The Family of Man exhibition, created by photographer Edward Steichen and inscribed on UNESCO’s Memory of the World register. More than five hundred photographs from many countries celebrate the human condition. On the neighbouring hill, the Benedictine abbey of Clervaux watches over the valley. In the afternoon, Bourscheid Castle, the largest in the country, offers an impressive view over the Sûre valley from its ramparts.
Programme
- Morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Arrival in Clervaux at around 10.00 am.
- Visit to The Family of Man exhibition at the castle.
- Guided tour of the exhibition (on request).
- Walk up to Clervaux Abbey and visit to the abbey church.
- Reserved group lunch (on request).
- Drive to Bourscheid and visit to the castle.
- Departure from Bourscheid at around 5.00 pm and return to your area in the evening.
