Day 1 : Journey to Reims

Day 2 : Reims and Épernay

• Visit to the Basilica of Saint-Remi, which houses the tomb of the bishop who baptised Clovis.
• Visit to the cellars of a major Reims champagne house, with tasting (on request).
• Drive through the vineyards of the Montagne de Reims and a stop at Hautvillers, the village of Dom Pérignon.
• Walk along the Avenue de Champagne in Épernay, lined with prestigious champagne houses.
• Visit and tasting at an independent winegrower's (on request).
• Group dinner in a restaurant in Reims (on request).

Day 3 : Troyes and Lake Orient

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Troyes, the former capital of the Counts of Champagne.
• Guided tour of old Troyes: half-timbered houses, the Ruelle des Chats and the Cathedral of St Peter and St Paul (on request).
• Lunch in a restaurant in Troyes (on request).
• Walk along the shores of Lake Orient, in the Forêt d'Orient Regional Nature Park.
• Free time in the factory outlet stores of Troyes (on request).
• Check-in at the hotel in the Troyes area.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 4 : Troyes and return

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free time in the centre of Troyes or visit to the Maison de l'Outil et de la Pensée Ouvrière (on request).
• Return journey in the early afternoon.
• Arrival back in your region in the evening.
