Day trip to Bouillon for your group: Godfrey’s castle, the Archéoscope, the Semois loop and Orval Abbey.
Nestled in a loop of the Semois, Bouillon is dominated by the castle of Godfrey, one of the oldest feudal remains in Belgium. Your group explores its rock-cut halls and underground passages, before the Archéoscope, which brings the era of the Crusades back to life. The landscapes of the Semois valley offer superb viewpoints, and nearby Orval Abbey reveals its medieval ruins and its museum.
Programme
- Early morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Arrival in Bouillon at around 10.00 am.
- Visit to the castle of Godfrey of Bouillon.
- Birds of prey show at the castle (on request).
- Reserved group lunch of Ardennes specialities (on request).
- Visit to the Archéoscope Godefroid de Bouillon.
- Scenic drive through the Semois loop, stop at the Tombeau du Géant viewpoint.
- Visit to the ruins and museum of Orval Abbey (on request).
- Departure at around 5.00 pm and return to your area in the evening.
