Good to know
- Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia are not members of the European Union: a valid Belgian identity card is sufficient, but a valid passport is recommended; travellers of other nationalities should check the entry requirements.
- Currencies: the euro (Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovakia), the convertible mark in Bosnia, the dinar in Serbia, the forint in Hungary and the koruna in the Czech Republic; bring a bank card.
- The tour alternates sightseeing days, travel stages and free days; the walls of Dubrovnik and Kotor and the cobbled lanes call for comfortable shoes.
