An 8-day tour of Istria and the Plitvice Lakes for your group: Rovinj, the basilica of Poreč, the Pula Arena, Opatija, Motovun and Plitvice Lakes National Park.
A Croatian peninsula at the gateway to Italy, Istria has kept from its Venetian past colourful harbours, bell towers and hilltop villages amid vineyards and olive groves. Your group discovers Rovinj, the Euphrasian Basilica of Poreč and its Byzantine mosaics, and the Roman arena of Pula, one of the best preserved in the world. Inland, Motovun overlooks a valley renowned for its truffles, while Opatija recalls the elegant resorts of the Belle Époque. The tour opens with the Plitvice Lakes, sixteen cascading lakes listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
