Day 1 : Journey to Auvergne

• Arrival in Clermont-Ferrand in the late afternoon.

Day 2 : Clermont-Ferrand and the Puy de Dôme

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided tour of Clermont-Ferrand: the Cathedral of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption in Volvic stone, the Basilica of Notre-Dame-du-Port and Place de Jaude (on request).
• Lunch of Auvergne specialities (on request).
• Ride to the summit of the Puy de Dôme aboard the Panoramique des Dômes cog railway.
• Walk on the summit, with a view over the Chaîne des Puys.
• Group dinner in a restaurant in Clermont-Ferrand (on request).

Day 3 : Vulcania

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Day at the Vulcania park, devoted to volcanoes and Earth sciences.
• Lunch in the park restaurant (on request).
• Visit to the Maison de la Pierre de Volvic (on request).
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 4 : Saint-Nectaire and Salers

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Saint-Nectaire and discovery of its Romanesque church.
• Visit to a farm and tasting of Saint-Nectaire cheese (on request).
• Drive through the Cantal mountains to Salers, a village of volcanic stone.
• Lunch of truffade or aligot (on request).
• Walk through Salers, from the Grande-Place to the ramparts.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 5 : Return

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Return journey in the morning, with regular stops along the way.
• Arrival back in your region in the evening.
