Alsace for groups: Strasbourg, Colmar and Haut-Koenigsbourg

Day 1 : Journey to Strasbourg

• Morning departure from the location of your choice.
• Drive to Alsace, with regular stops along the way.
• Arrival in Strasbourg in the early afternoon and discovery of Notre-Dame Cathedral and its astronomical clock.
• Walk through the Petite France district.
• Check-in at the hotel, in the middle of the Wine Route.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : Strasbourg and Obernai

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided boat trip on the Ill in Strasbourg (on request).
• Drive past the European institutions.
• Lunch in a Strasbourg winstub (on request).
• In the afternoon, walk in Obernai, around its Market Square.
• Climb up Mont Sainte-Odile, a major spiritual site of Alsace, with a view over the plain.
• Group dinner with choucroute or flammekueche (on request).

Day 3 : Haut-Koenigsbourg and Riquewihr

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Visit to Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, a medieval fortress restored in the early 20th century.
• Visit to the Montagne des Singes in Kintzheim and its Barbary macaques roaming in semi-freedom (on request).
• Lunch in a restaurant (on request).
• Walk in Riquewihr, among its ramparts, the Dolder and half-timbered houses.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 4 : Colmar and Kaysersberg

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided tour of Colmar: the Maison des Têtes, the Koïfhus and Little Venice (on request).
• Visit to the Unterlinden Museum and the Isenheim Altarpiece (on request).
• Boat ride through Little Venice (on request).
• In the afternoon, walk in Kaysersberg, Albert Schweitzer's birthplace, at the foot of its castle.
• Cellar visit and tasting of Alsace wines (on request).
• Group dinner in a winstub (on request).

Day 5 : Return

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free time in a village on the Wine Route.
• Return journey in the late morning.
• Arrival back in your region in the evening.
