The Allgäu for groups: Neuschwanstein, the Wieskirche and Lindau on Lake Constance

Day 1 : Journey to the Allgäu

• Early morning departure from the location of your choice.
• Drive to southern Germany, with regular stops along the way.
• Arrival in the Füssen area in the late afternoon.
• Check-in at the hotel.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : Neuschwanstein and Füssen

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Climb up to Neuschwanstein Castle and the view from Mary's Bridge (Marienbrücke).
• Interior visit of Neuschwanstein or the neighbouring Hohenschwangau Castle (on request).
• In the afternoon, walk through the old town of Füssen, at the foot of the High Castle.
• Stop at the Lech Falls.
• Group dinner in a Bavarian inn (on request).

Day 3 : The Wieskirche and Oberammergau

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to the Pilgrimage Church of Wies and discovery of its Rococo interior.
• Continuation to Ettal Abbey.
• Walk in Oberammergau, the village of painted façades and woodcarvers.
• Visit to a woodcarving workshop (on request).
• Return to the hotel at the end of the day.

Day 4 : Lindau and Lake Constance

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Lindau, about an hour and a half away.
• Walk through the island town: Maximilianstraße, the painted Old Town Hall and the harbour guarded by its Bavarian lion and lighthouse.
• Cruise on Lake Constance (on request).
• Return to the hotel at the end of the day.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 5 : Mountain cheese dairy and return

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Visit to an Allgäu cheese dairy and tasting of mountain cheeses (on request).
• Return journey in the late morning, with regular stops.
• Arrival back in your region in the evening.
