Day trip to Planckendael for your group: the large animal park in Mechelen, with elephants and playgrounds, admission included.
Near Mechelen, Planckendael is the large open-air animal park of Antwerp Zoo. Across vast green spaces, your group discovers Asian elephants and animals from Africa and Australia, among others, while the children let off steam in the many playgrounds. In season, you can arrive by boat from the centre of Mechelen, along the Dijle. A day in nature for schools, families and associations.
Programme
- Morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Arrival in Mechelen and boat trip on the Dijle to Planckendael, in season (on request), or direct arrival at the park by coach.
- Free day in the park: Asian elephants, animals from the different continents and playgrounds.
- Reserved group meal package (on request), otherwise free lunch.
- Guided tour of the park for the group (on request).
- Departure at park closing time and return to your area in the evening.

Good to know
- Departure times are adapted to your pick-up point and to the park’s opening time, which varies with the season.
- The boat between Mechelen and Planckendael only runs in season: to be checked when you send your request; the park is large, so wear comfortable shoes.
- A meeting point and time are set for the return to the coach; minors remain under the responsibility of their group leaders.
