- Duration Day trip
2 hours from Liège, the Christmas market of Trier, Germany’s oldest city, between the main market square, the cathedral and the Porta Nigra.
Founded by the Romans, Trier is the oldest city in Germany. In December, its Christmas market sets up on the main market square, surrounded by colourful houses, and in front of the cathedral. Just a short walk away, the Porta Nigra, a great Roman gate and UNESCO World Heritage Site, rounds off a day that combines history, festive lights and Christmas specialities, with mulled wine from the Moselle.
For your association, club or group of friends, we tailor the day: departure time and pick-up point, a reserved lunch for the group, a guided tour or free time.
