In Oberhausen, the large Christmas market sets up next to the CentrO, one of the biggest shopping centres in Europe. Dozens of illuminated stalls, a big wheel and a huge Christmas tree create a festive atmosphere, and everything is close at hand: you can easily move from the stalls to the warmth of the shops. An ideal outing for those who like to combine a Christmas market with shopping.
For seniors, we plan a day at a relaxed pace: a departure close to home, little walking, breaks, a sit-down lunch in a restaurant and parking as close to the market as possible.
Programme
- Morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Arrival in Oberhausen after a drive of about 2 hours from Liège.
- Free time at the Christmas market.
- Free time for shopping at the shopping centre.
- Lunch at your own leisure or reserved for the group (on request).
- Free time to enjoy the lights as night falls.
