Day trip to Koblenz for your group: Christmas markets on the squares of the old town and a walk to the Deutsches Eck, at the confluence of the Rhine and the Moselle.
During Advent, Koblenz spreads its Christmas market over several squares in the old town, such as the Plan, the Jesuitenplatz, the Münzplatz and the Görresplatz. Your group moves from one square to the next through illuminated lanes, among old houses, Romanesque churches and the History Column on the Görresplatz. Close by, the Deutsches Eck and its equestrian statue of Emperor William I overlook the confluence of the Rhine and the Moselle, opposite Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Mulled wine, Moselle wines, gingerbread and roasted chestnuts round off the day.
Programme
- Morning departure from the place of your choice.

- Arrival in Koblenz in the late morning.
- Guided tour of the old town (on request): the Basilica of St Castor, the Church of Our Lady and the Görresplatz.
- Walk to the Deutsches Eck, at the confluence of the Rhine and the Moselle.
- Cable car ride up to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, depending on winter opening (on request).
- Group lunch in a restaurant in the old town (on request) or free lunch.
- Free time at the Christmas markets in the old town.
- Stroll through the illuminated lanes at nightfall.
- Departure from Koblenz in the early evening.
- Return to your area in the evening.
