Day trip to Diergaarde Blijdorp for your group: Rotterdam’s large zoo and its Oceanium, admission included.
Opened in 1940 in a setting designed by the architect Sybold van Ravesteyn, Rotterdam’s Blijdorp Zoo combines historic buildings with modern areas organised by continent. Your group dives into the Oceanium, where sharks, rays and sea turtles swim in a huge tank crossed by a tunnel. Asian elephants at Taman Indah, butterflies and tropical birds at the Amazonica, and animals from Africa and Asia complete the journey. A full day for schools, families and seniors.
Programme
- Early morning departure from the place of your choice to arrive for the zoo’s opening.
- Entry to Diergaarde Blijdorp and free day.
- Visit to the Oceanium and its underwater tunnel.
- Reserved group meal package in a zoo restaurant (on request), otherwise free lunch.
- Afternoon between Taman Indah, the Amazonica and the zoo’s historic buildings.
- Departure at zoo closing time.

- The zoo is large: wear comfortable shoes; a meeting point and time are set for the return to the coach, and group leaders remain responsible for minors.
