1. Day 1Nuremberg — welcome of your group at the airport or station, drive through Hesse and Franconia, Imperial Castle, Main Market and Beautiful Fountain, night in Nuremberg
2. Day 2Passau and Linz — Passau, city of three rivers, St Stephen’s Cathedral and its giant organ, crossing into Austria, Linz main square on the Danube, night in Linz
3. Day 3Budapest — drive along the Danube via Vienna and Győr, arrival in Hungary, evening cruise on the illuminated Danube, night in Budapest
4. Day 4Budapest — Fishermen’s Bastion and Matthias Church, Buda Castle, Parliament, St Stephen’s Basilica, Széchenyi thermal baths, night in Budapest
5. Day 5Lake Balaton — Tihany Abbey and peninsula, Balatonfüred promenade, Badacsony wine tasting, night in Balatonfüred
6. Day 6Pannonhalma and Vienna — UNESCO-listed Benedictine Archabbey of Pannonhalma, crossing into Austria, Ringstrasse and Vienna State Opera, night in Vienna
7. Day 7Vienna — Schönbrunn Palace, Hofburg, St Stephen’s Cathedral, Viennese café and Sachertorte, evening at a Heuriger, night in Vienna
8. Day 8Wachau — Danube cruise from Krems to Melk among vineyards and castles, baroque Melk Abbey, night in Regensburg
9. Day 9Regensburg — Stone Bridge and St Peter’s Cathedral in UNESCO-listed Regensburg, return to Cologne, then transfer to the airport or station
