Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1Frankfurt — welcome of your group at the airport or station, Römerberg and Imperial Cathedral, skyscrapers on the Main, cider (Apfelwein) in the Sachsenhausen district, night in Frankfurt
2. Day 2Regensburg and Passau — Stone Bridge and cathedral of Regensburg, confluence of three rivers and St Stephen’s Cathedral in Passau, night in Passau
3. Day 3Wachau and Vienna — baroque Melk Abbey, Danube cruise to Dürnstein, Wachau vineyards, night in Vienna
4. Day 4Vienna — Schönbrunn Palace, Ringstrasse and Hofburg, St Stephen’s Cathedral, break in a Viennese café, evening at a Heuriger wine tavern, night in Vienna
5. Day 5Český Krumlov — drive into South Bohemia, castle and old town of Český Krumlov in the bends of the Vltava, night in Prague
6. Day 6Prague — castle and St Vitus Cathedral, Golden Lane, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square and astronomical clock, Vltava cruise, night in Prague
7. Day 7Karlovy Vary and Bamberg — colonnades and hot springs of Karlovy Vary, drive through Franconia, smoked beer (Rauchbier) in a Bamberg brewery, night in Bamberg
8. Day 8Bamberg — Old Town Hall on the Regnitz, Imperial Cathedral, Little Venice, return to Brussels, then transfer to the airport or station
