2. Day 2Trier and Bernkastel — Porta Nigra, then terraced vineyards and riesling of the German Moselle
3. Day 3Strasbourg — cathedral, Petite France, dinner in a winstub
4. Day 4Alsace wine route — Riquewihr, Kaysersberg and a tasting at a winegrower’s
5. Day 5Colmar and Eguisheim — Little Venice, the circular village of Eguisheim, Munster cheese and kugelhopf
6. Day 6Reims and Épernay — drive to Champagne, Reims cathedral, cellar visit and tasting in Épernay
7. Day 7Paris — drive to Paris, then transfer to the airport or station
