Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1Limousin — welcome of your group at the airport or station, drive through Sologne and Berry, Boucherie quarter and porcelain of Limoges, night in Limoges
2. Day 2Rocamadour — holy city clinging to the cliff, sanctuaries and view over the Alzou valley, drive through Quercy, night in Toulouse
3. Day 3Toulouse and Carcassonne — Place du Capitole and Saint-Sernin Basilica in Toulouse, drive to the Aude, ramparts and count’s castle of the Cité de Carcassonne, night in Carcassonne
4. Day 4Comminges — drive along the foot of the Pyrenees, Foix Castle, cathedral of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, night in Bagnères-de-Luchon
5. Day 5Val d’Aran — into Spain via Pont-du-Roi, Vielha and its Romanesque churches, village of Bossòst, Aranese cuisine, night in Bagnères-de-Luchon
6. Day 6Pyrenean passes — Col de Peyresourde and Col d’Aspin, panoramic views of the peaks, drive through the Aure valley, night in Lourdes
7. Day 7Lourdes — sanctuaries and Grotto of Massabielle, Rosary Basilica, fortified castle, candlelight procession in the evening, night in Lourdes
8. Day 8Gavarnie — Cirque de Gavarnie and its great waterfall, walk on foot or by donkey, Napoleon Bridge at Luz-Saint-Sauveur, night in Lourdes
9. Day 9Pau — birthplace castle of Henri IV and Boulevard des Pyrénées in Pau, drive through the Landes, night in Bordeaux
10. Day 10Bordeaux region — Place de la Bourse and the quays of Bordeaux, drive through Poitou and Touraine, return to Paris, then transfer to the airport or station
